CENTURY APARTMENTS STARTS RENOVATIONS

We are excited to announce the renovation of The Century Apartments! This 1937 Art Deco building located in the Meridian Hill Historic District is being upgraded with brand-new electrical, plumbing & fire protection systems, new Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system at all apartments, new windows, kitchens, bathrooms and finishes throughout. The renovation also includes a new accessible entrance,  the addition of a Penthouse with a roof deck & party room, and the reconfiguration of two 8th floor units into 2-level apartments. 

Our team had prepared an early demo set and received approvals from DCRA to commence with selective demolition. Our team also presented the design and received approval from the Historic Preservation Review Board for the windows replacement, new entrance, and proposed penthouse addition. Two mock-up units were prepared for Owner's review of finishes and layout.

We are thrilled to work with Akelius and McCullough Construction on this phenomenal project!
