As the COVID-19 pandemic will continue to lead to changes in the way spaces are designed, we at Soto have sought to research what this means for the future of senior living facilities in particular. Our team has compiled a summary of key design considerations to combat the spread of viral disease between residents and staff within such facilities. This document is a result of COVID-19 response research for Livingston Place at Southern Avenue, the first affordable assisted living facility to be built in Ward 8, DC.
