Park Montgomery is a compelling renovation of a 1973 affordable high-rise apartment building paired with the demolition of an existing parking garage & replacement with a new mid-rise affordable apartment building over a new parking garage. Located in Silver Spring, MD, Park Montgomery will be less than a 5 minute walk from the Purple Line's Piney Branch Road Station.

Throughout this project our team administered an in-depth site survey & conditions report of the existing building, upgraded the life safety, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, & fire protection systems, while increasing the energy efficiency of the building envelope. Building upgrades also include new finishes in all apartments, along with an upgrade in accessibility for residents & the community. The high-rise renovation will utilize a phased construction and a tenant in-place approach to the scope of work.

This project proudly creates a sense of community between the old and new construction via a shared central plaza & playground. The focus on community extends to the shared amenities between both buildings.
