V A R S I T Y   O N   K

Originally built in 1985 as the St. James Hotel, this 12 story highrise has been newly renovated and leased to George Washington University as student dorms. Meant to attract millennials and urban families, our chief goal was to brighten and energize the existing dim and underutilized spaces. An unused outdoor pool was converted into a landscaped courtyard and the lower levels gutted for student study lounges, community rooms and fitness spaces.
