Construction of 1201 Jefferson will begin December 2021!
1201 Jefferson is a study of long term living in an urban context. Located in the heart of Northwest Washington D.C. on the corner of Georgia Ave and Jefferson St, 1201 Jefferson was conceived based on the concept of biophilic design, through the use of natural materials, orientation, and the integration of nature throughout the project. The units are a mix of one and two-story apartments that create a unique collection along the thriving Georgia Avenue. Each unit at 1201 Jefferson either has a balcony with a built-in planter box, a juliet balcony, or a rooftop patio. Bike parking located on site, as well as the utilization of EnergyStar appliances and equipment help to reduce the projects overall carbon footprint. A number of these green features combine to create an oasis in the city so that residents don't have to sacrifice their connection to nature simply because they live in an urban environment.
