Location: Ward 8, SE Washington, DC

Project Info: 43,000 sq ft, 5 Stories, 41 Units

​This project will be an all-inclusive community that includes family-sized units, artist housing and permanent supportive housing made possible through the Housing Production Trust Fund, via the most recent round of DHCD funding. 

Mississippi Ave Apartments houses a 1000 sq. ft. artist studio on the lower floor, and a community room/gallery near the main entry. The facade utilizes corten steel, brick and corrugated metal for an tactile, industrial construction methodology. Our team is pursuing a higher level of sustainability with the Nearing Net Zero program, providing a rooftop solar array, green roof and many other more stringent sustainable measures.
